VPO Newsletter Editor | Working on Behalf of Paralegals throughout the State of Vermont |
I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in 1994, majoring in Sociology. In 1999, I obtained my Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Champlain College. I worked as a litigation paralegal at Dinse P.C. for over 22 years, and now work as a litigation paralegal at Downs Rachlin Martin, PLLC. I have been a VPO member since 1998, was Membership Committee Chair from 2001 through 2007, and President from 2005 to 2007. For many years, I have been the editor of Paralegal Focus, and the Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. I remain aware of changing rules and issues that affect the paralegal profession, and the day-to-day work of a litigation paralegal. I also spent several years reviewing CLE applications submitted by national providers to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. |
