Study Manual
The PACE Study Manual provides an overview of the five domains covered on the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam. The 5th Edition, which became available March 1, 2008, includes many new mini-chapters including bankruptcy, corporate law, intellectual property, family law, and other areas tested in the new exam. AIPS PACE Review Course
The American Institute for Paralegal Studies (AIPS) offers an online review course for the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam (PACE). The course runs for seven weeks, and includes a brief pre-course orientation to familiarize students with the software used by AIPS. AIPS courses are taught through computer-mediated distance learning. Students may communicate with instructors or classmates around the clock from their home or office computer. Completion of this course does not guarantee passage of PACE or eligibility. The course textbook is the PACE Study Manual, and a mock PACE exam will be administered at the conclusion of the course. Please allow time for purchase and delivery of the Study Manual before beginning the Review Course. Registration is through NFPA’s website. Online Practice Exam
This one-time online practice exam, available through NFPA, contains 100 sample questions. The program will advise you of your total score. This great study aid will help you assess your overall knowledge of the material covered on the exam. NFPA does not, however, guarantee that if you pass this practice exam that you will pass PACE.
