I am a paralegal in the Burlington office of Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer P.C., where I provide general litigation support in the areas of civil litigation, accountant's liability, and insurance claims handling and coverage issues. I have over 15 years of experience in the legal field, focused primarily in litigation. My past case experience includes large complex and commercial litigation, toxic tort cases, medical and legal malpractice cases, insurance coverage and defense work, immigration work, and eminent domain and condemnation cases.
I received my Associates of Arts from Trinity College, and went on to earn my Bachelor's of Science in Legal/Paralegal Studies from Woodbury College. In June 2010, I obtained the National Federation of Paralegal Associations PACE Registered Paralegal Certification.
As Membership Chair, my role is to encourage, promote, and maintain membership in the VPO, as well as to process and maintain membership records.
As Primary NFPA Representative, I am a liaison between the VPO membership and NFPA, the national organization with which the VPO is affiliated. I am charged with learning about issues facing paralegals via NFPA and sharing such information with our membership. By attending regional and national meetings as well as participating in online discussions and telephone conferences, I am able to give the VPO a national voice. Likewise, I am responsible for casting votes at NFPA conferences, which are a reflection of the VPO membership's positions on topics that impact the paralegal profession.
