The VPO is always looking for new volunteers. Please consider joining a VPO Committee: Newsletter, Membership, Ethics and Professional Liaison, Job Bank, Finance, Bylaws, Sponsorship, Website, Pro Bono, Scholarship, Continuing Legal Education, Legislative, Advertising.
The VPO is still looking for a Newsletter Chairperson and Editor. You must be a voting member of the VPO. Louise Reese, our long-time Newsletter Editor and Chairperson, has graciously offered to be an interim Newsletter Chairperson and Editor, while still pursuing her other interests on the CLE Committee. We have an Interim Editor and two other committee members who have stepped up the keep the Newsletter going. If you are interested in becoming our Newsletter Editor, please contact Louise Reese at lreese@dinse.com.

Pro-Bono and Charitable Activities
The VPO is continuing to develop opportunities for pro-bono activities. We are also interested in participating in charitable events.
In October 2010, the VPO gathered a team to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Chittenden County Walk on Sunday, October 17, 2010. The team also took part in the Basket Raffle to raise additional funds. The 2010 VPO Team included Corinne Deering, Co-Captain, Diane Brown, Co-Captain, Carie Tarte, Laurie Noyes, Lisa Laramee, Chantal McKeage, Sharon Lucia, Heather Moreau, Heather Rylant, Kim Jillson, Laura Gorsky, Leslie Mooney, and Deb Franzke. In total the team raised $4,918.40 for the American Cancer Society.

Continuing Legal Education
The VPO will be planning future CLE conferences, lunch and learn sessions, and a presentation for the VBA. Please consider getting more involved by joining a committee. We need your involvement!
