I began my legal career in 2007 as a Legal Assistant at Langrock Sperry & Wool, and while employed there, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies from Champlain College. I became a member of the Vermont Paralegal Organization whiloe at Champlain College. In the last couple of years, I have worked as a paralegal handling primarily foreclosure cases. I am currently working for Doremus Roesler & Kantor, where I work mainly on, but not limited to, commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Prior to becoming a paralegal, I worked in the accounting/financial industry for approximately ten years as an Accounting Assistant for a local restaurant chain and for the Association of Vermont Credit Unions as a Program Services Specialst.
As Treasurer, I am responsible for balancing the Vermont Paralegal Organization's checkbook, maintaining financial records, and tracking income and expenditures. I am also responsible for helping develop the annual budget.
